Do you guys know if I can put the piston and sleeve from an OS MAX .18 CV-R into a OS .18TM? I don't have tech info but so far it looks to me like different stock numbers.

Usually if the part numbers are different then the part usually is as well. Being that one is a turbo plug head engine and the other not i would try to find out more through tech support if you could find a number to call OS engines or maybe someone who is a dealer and has tech support knowledgeable enough to help.

A little confused - The title is about an OS TM.21 but yet were talking about an OS .18?????????????? I've got no problem tryin to locate some parts (Have 3 P/S sets for the CV-R) but need to know what engine were talkin about

Sorry, that was my fault. I have no idea of why I put 21 instead of 18. I think probably because I'm presently working midnights. Anyway, I think that I have found that the TM model is 5 ports and the CV-R is 3 so it won't work. I was looking at a used .18TM and I have parts for the CV-R and I thought that maybe they had the same sleeve.

I haven't run a TM yet. I'm running an OS CV-R 18 in a Tmaxx and it's one of the best engines I have. It runs great all the time and has pretty good power for it's size.

Got the same thing in mine and havent had any issues to speak of either. I do like the sound of a 5 port TM vs the 3 port of the CV-R. I would think more power and turque would be produced.
