alright i think its time to upgrade cause my 2.5r is giving me problems and i feel i might as well get a better one. but my question is how hard is it to instal the os. i heard you have to cut the crank, and i don't know how to do that. and also what else do you have to do?

and how much would it cost for everything?

To save you time here is the direct link to the thread.

a dawg, I went with the os .18tm. It is very easy to install and has a ton of power. Highly recomended. The tz has a little more then the tm and is cheaper but it is a little trickier to install. The tm is a direct drop in and comes with the header and everything. tm is sweet!

alright, well the tz looks a little to diffucult to install. i think i might go with the tm if it will just drop right in without any mods. akmadmaxx do you have any pics of yours that i can see? and also will my trinity pipe and header fit cause i just bought it and don't want it to go to waste.

You can use the OS header that comes with the engine with the Trinity pipe. I'm not sure if you buy on ebay but I have sen the TM for around $175.00 lately

The Trinity header doesn't quite fit right with the TM. I use the header that came with the TM and have the Trinity header for a backup. The amount of power that the TZ produces over the TM is not noticeable so you won't be disappointed. I will advise if you are using a starter box and have no other starting system to order a backplate, as the TM comes with the sneazy start adapter. For a blank you can use either the 18TZ backplate or the one from RD Racing.

the tz is not hard really at all to install when you vut the crank screw a nut so you have 5 threads left i think it was then cut the crank its actually wuite simple. it was the first motor i installed in my revo and i thought the same thing you did, but i just bought it and have not been disappointed starts every time ez to tune crazy power actually perfect power set up for the revo crazy mid and top end power just a great motor i encurage you on this motor, but if your not confident in your abilities to install it then go with a rb 323 or a 0s .18 tm all and all i think i paid for everything was about $220 when it was all said and done on the tz. But good luck and i hope this helps you out.

Pic

Heres a picture.

Its an awsome engine, has alot of torque and runs perfect.
Highly recomended!
