HEY DOES ANYBODY KNOW HOW TO GET THE FRONT AND REAR BEARINGS OUT OF THE OS 12 CV CRANKCASE (ENGINE BLOCK) i DONT KNOW IF THEY MAKE ANY TYPE OF REMOVAL TOOL ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT THANKS.:ponder2:

Use a heat gun and a pair of large channel lock pliers (to hold the engine). Strip the engine down completely, to block-and-bearings only, then heat up the block as hot as you can get it (while holding with the pliers). Then tap the pliers (with the engine in it) so the bearing will fall out of the block. Flip over, and do the inner bearing. Re-insert the inner bearing first, then the outter bearing, heating between inserts.

Hope that helps.

If you don't have a heat gun you can put it in the oven. Strip it down to just the block and the bearings, place it in the oven on 300 for about 10-15 minutes, take it out with either an oven mit or some pliers and tap the block against a hard surface. They should come right out.

BTW, please do not ype in all caps, on a forum that is taken as yelling and makes the post difficult to read.

Hey thanks for all your help.I used a mini torch to get them out,I didnt have a heat gun and the oven didnt get hot enough.but the torch worked great thanks for the quick response this sight is awsome.

Notta problem, amigo. Welcome to what many feel is the best forum on the web, hands down. I used to have a CV 12 - great little motor for the price. It was actually my first nitro motor, and the one I remember the most fondly.
