Ok, I'm putting in an order on Monday. Looking to get a new pipe and some a-arms for Tmaxx 2.5r. what should I get, and, about how much am I looking to spend? Help me out!!!

Yea, I'm gonna go rpm. Whats this true track conversion? I've never heard or it. Is it just for the rear end? Fill me in. Thanx for the help.

It's just for the rear end. It gets rid of those pesky toe links and it permanently sets each side at negative 1.5 degrees so you have negative 3 degrees of toe in. I think it's a great thing to have

Save up for a 3.3 engine. The 2.5 is inevitably a turd, no matter what pipe or gear combo you run. Though these mods will help a tad, the 2.5 is just too small for a monster truck. Just make sure whatever pipe you choose is compatible with the 3.3, so you can use it later.

Cool, thanx for the help. I am gonna put a 3.3 in eventually. I'm not changing my motor out till this winter. Gonna build it more, run it this year, than drop a 3.3 in it. Thanx again.

The 2.5 would be a good engine for you to use next winter as well. Most people like to keep an old engine around, just for cold weather use. A new engine will wear really fast in cold weather(40 and below).

Thanx Matt. Let me ask ya. I just lowered it from stock down about a half an inch or so. My shocks feel real "spongy". If I push down on the truck, it doesn't come all the way back up.would putting more spacers in help this? I'm running 100% shock oil right now. I want a good setting for on and off road. What would you recomend? Thanx again.

That's good to know. I plan to buy a new motor for my Muti over the winter, as the .32 is old and well worn. Now instead of trashing it I'll keep it around for winter play.

Alien? Any suggestions on this shock issue? They're real spongy. More spacers? Need all the help I can get. Thanx.

Thanx man. I've got so many questions as being somewhat new to nitro makes me wonder a lot. I see a lot of you guys putting extensions on the end of your pipes. I just found this piece laying around, and it fits on the end of my stock pipe. Now, if I was to use this, what's the best way to seal it to my pipe? I know they help with keeping the exhaust smoke off the body and all that. Is this safe for me to do? Will it mess with my tuning? I've got a lot of questions. Lol. Thanx.

I put 2 small zips on mine, one when the pipe is cold, just to keep it in place, and the second after normal running temp so the rubber gets really really soft so you can zip it alot tighter. Just make sure the stinger isnt filthy and oily or she'll slip right off.

Thanx. I guess the length on these doesn't matter? That just a matter of personal preferance? Not too worried about it, just trying to keep "some" of the grime off my truck. What's the average length these "extensions" should be?
