Order placed for LST

I placed an order for the LST this past week at my LHS. I saw it in person and really liked it, so since my birthday is coming up, I thought it would look good next to my Maxx and Savage SS. Should be in by the end of the month. Great price too, $549 plus tax. I don't need the radio so I will be selling it on eBay to offset the cost of the truck. If anyone is interested, here is a link;

i have a lst and my son has a revo. i liked what the revo could do and started lookin around, went to my lhs and they just recieved the lst and i knew i had 2 have it.

I would like to see a review out of you when you have a chance. I have been considering the same truck for the past few months. I had also posted a thread looking for feedback on the RB 728 to use for power. My rc collection is dwendling down to just 2 and soon to be just one.

Well I have it in hand now. I can't get over the size of those shocks. Almost the same diameter as a bottle of Trinity diff fluid. Need to make a guard for the inside open area of the gear cover to keep small rocks out and also pick up a 5 cell flat pack then I will be all set to see what it can do.

Robmob, you might wanna also think about getting a skid guard for the steering servos as they look a little exposed. I plan on getting my digital camera this weekend and should have pics up sometime around then.

the servos arent in danger really, they are recessed inside the frame. and if you all want a review its an awesome truck i have mine at factory settings and its doing wheelies all the time and jus gettin it into second gear is fantastic youll find out

What gear are you popping wheelies in, because mine will not pop them in the high gears even in grass, I have not been using the low gears that much though so maybe thats what I'll have to do. The servo skid is not a must but I just wanted a reason to try and make something plus if I ever landed wrong I wouldn't have to worry about them.

so there are 2 sets of gears on this thing? Can you use the whole range of gears or do you have to set it to the 2 hi gears or low gears?

You set it to either low or high before running.

There isn't 4 selectable gears there is just a high and low range that you can switch with the selector knob thats on the truck, sorry to confuse.

Hi to all you, I am time now in Iraq but soon will be heading back and I think the LST is Going to be my next MT TRUCK but i can not find it in stock no were is it in stock hre in this HOBBY SHOP that you put your order in, or is it back orderd, :shrug:

You will have to call Jakes to see if they have it in stock before ordering. They go a shipment of them in late last week and they seem to sell quick.

Your best bet is to call or email Jakes since there price is much better.
