Can not get it to work with the new traxxas link radio?
 
The opti drive is useless. Just hook the servo directly to the receiver and make sure the truck is stopped when you engage reverse. It's better yet to install a forward only conversion and do away with reverse entirely. No more stuttering/clicking on take off and it makes for a much stouter tranny.
 
He mentioned he has the 3.3, totaly diferant animal, they dont do that stutter thing on take off.

But yes , the optidrive is useless. shitcan it, and put a failsafe in there.
