Opti Drive!!!

I wanna get opti drive. What do you guys think of optidrive for the t-maxx? whats required to buy and install on truck how does it perform whats it do specificly stuff like that? :whhooo:

The opti drive is pretty much a gimmick. It's supposed to keep a person from shifting tranny directions while moving. All I've ever heard it do is cause problems. All it adds is a rats nest of wiring.

From reading some reviews, i would say no.


just jerk the rev. gear out install a FOC and be done with it.

no doubt. Don't bother with it. As stated above, install foc. And ditch the opti idea. Best move I ever made.

everywhere I've heard that having reverse is a bad move and the FOc is best so DONT do it and then you wont need the optidrive! besides the tmaxx really dont have much need for reverse not much stops them. the few things that may stop them just requires a little more refined driving to avoid..... LOL
