Any opinions on a used savage xl supposedly under a gallon on the 5.9, tech servos, and upgrade on the brakes for 250. Found on craiglist bout to go look at it in a few, first used rig I've ever bought. Considering pinch is good how does 250 sound.

Not a bad price but there is no way to know about that engine, when I buy a used nitro I expect problems! My used Revo starts easy and runs strong but after tearing the engine apart I found the bearings won't last much longer...you just never know with a used rig.

Yeah I kinda feel like I'm just really buying a chassis, thats why I'm wondering if 250 is good or bad know I'll be probably be putting an extreme mod mill on it

Well we ran two tanks through it and it actually ran great once it got warmed up. Extremely clean looks like this guy really gave me a great deal so far. He was running 20% odonnel gave me a half gallon he had left, hump pack, and a couple more items I'm yet to go through. Full day of work then mowing tomorrow but Friday I'll know for sure exactly how much this bad boy can take plan on running her hard very hard.
