I have been snooping around on ebay and came across some lightened/vented clutch bells. They're made by Integy. Does anybody know anything about these parts? What are your thoughts on them? Also what about the 3 shoe vs. 2 shoe clutchs?

Not a big fan of anything Integy makes unless it's a shelf queen ;-) Their parts have a bad rep around here for being less than durable. Look into the Robinson Hardened Clutch Bells. MUCH MUCH tougher.

Avoid Integy at all costs! They have poor quality control and even worse (non-existant) customer service! Go with the Robinson clutch bell. Thy're durable and the company is much better to work with.

yeah definately Robinson Racing makes some gears and clutch bells that are bomb proof most of mine are Robinson, as for the clutches stay with your 3 shoe and you will get better bite and it will last longer. I have had the same RR combo bell and spur in my Revo for about 9 months and haven't had a problem.

go with robinson racing clutch and spur. and if you do the robinson set....make sure you get the clutch bell AND spur. the harden steel clutch bell will eat the plastic spur fast!!!!

thanks for the inputs. another question, tho... what's your thoughts on cvd's?

i HAD a set of the traxxas cvds on my platinum and they held up for awhile. but after a really big jump in a pro seris race i had to either take a buggy in the rear or launch my revo into the air and send it about 15 feet and landed good until i noticed a wobble and bringing it in i found i bent a rear cvd. like i said they were about a year old. alot depends on if your going to be racing or bashing also. if your going to be bashing i would say stick with the stock plastice shafts. alot cheaper to replace.
