i have a 21 tooth clutch bell and a 70 tooth spur. i want to drop some teeth on the spur becuz i spin way to much and i just do 360's when i am barely rolling and smash the trigger. wat is yalls opinion on gear ratios? oh btw it has a 3.3 on it.

I'm not sure how many teeth you can drop on the spur, probably not many. I would go up 1 or 2 on the bell and lose a few on the spur. Stock gearing on a 3.3 maxx is 22/58, but that's with the revo spec driveline, it may be a little different gearing in the trans. Either way make sure your slipper is set right, and you'll probably have to reset your two-speed as well, the shift point will change slightly.

ok thanks 2revo1maxx. i was thinkin about a 64 spur and keepin the 21 tooth clutch bell. i know it will be slowwww accelerating but i dont care. is there any reaon why this wouldnt work?

As long as you can move your engine over far enough to get a good mesh, it will work fine. As for acceleration, you won't notice much difference, but it will help. You may notice that it shifts into 2nd gear quicker that way too.

Also, make sure you throttle linkage is set right after the gear change.
