Hello RC People- I have been in the works for a while on building a STATE of THE ART RC Racing Facility. Our "Building Board Team" has been in full effect all over the world for the past 16 months...No matter how many people we have we constantly get new ideas from people and new trends...so this tells us we can never stop learning from you all. Please give us some feedback...Here's some topics to help your mind get to work-
  • What do you like MOST about your favorite track...?
  • What does your favorite track lack...?
  • Does your track have a concession area...?
  • Does your track have a membership charge...? (monthly, quarterly, or yearly)
  • How much do you pay to practice at your track...?
  • What other money do you spend at your track...?
  • Would you like to have a local Nascar style Point System to participate in...?
  • Individual Rewards for Record Holders for the following:
    1. High Jump Competition...?
    2. Fastest 3 lap time...?
    3. Fastest Drag time...?
    4. Freestyle Trickery 2 min Run...?
    5. Wheelie Competition...?
    6. Anymore that would intrigue your skill set.....?
  • Live Feed of all RC Track events
  • RC Shop at the facility...?
  • Please add anything else you might enjoy to have at your favorite facility....?

Really can't say anything for the "your favorite" track questions because in my area locally to me I have 3 public tracks that I go to. And then the other 2 are private tracks. Don't really have a favorite on which one.

How much do you pay to practice at your track.
(These estimates do not include bigger awards/trophy races or ROAR affiliated races)
Local dirt track - 25
2 carpet tracks - 10
A recent carpet track (just moved into a new space) - 25
What other money do you spend at your track...?
If this track has a Hobby Shop I usually spend money there on any part/s I broke while racing and need ASAP if in stock (most of the time they will have it for me), and TIRES. If I am willing to spend money at the HS I will and I do try to support them to my best to keep them alive, although I'd say I order online 70 percent of the time since I can't go to the track on a daily basis or consistently.
RC Shop at the facility...?
All the public tracks I am talking about do have some sort of shop along with them (talked about above)
Would you like to have a local Nascar style Point System to participate in...?
(Coming from a Off-Road racer) Sure, If I am interested in onroad and figuring out the car. I heard that they are sort of like the TT02s where you ideally cannot get competitive with them (unless you spend the countless hours of time and money into them) because sometimes they do have issues which causes frustration unlike a high grade kit. The percentage that someone gets a kit or RTR car and has issues out of the box is pretty low, but not that uncommon. For example I watch a YT channel and he races the nascars on both oval and onroad. He says most of the other racers have no issues while he tears down his car deeply and try to make it drive like what it is supposed to do.

Most tracks use MyLAPS scoring systems and LiveRC for scoring. Those systems and subscriptions can get pricey over time. The whole mylaps decoder setup and loop is over 5k, not including the LiveRC subscription. I do see people use Trackmate with RCScoring Pro or a lesser known scoring website and doing Live streams through YouTube or FaceBook or Twitch.

I usually pay between$10 and $25 for practice. Having a hobby shop on site is a huge bonus. Scoring system for racing, I probably wouldn't go practice at a track if they didn't have racing there. Having a air compressor is a plus. The track I was just at had a heated wash tub for tires. Considering it was 35 degrees outside, it was very much appreciated. Monitors to see live scoring and results

I have raced all over the country... pay entry anywhere from 5 -50+ per entry. some of the funnest races I've been a part of are " random " buy in races ... you show up to a track to race say oval racing. they have a mystery buy in at 25 and entry and class rules are 2wd buggy based. then come race time usally the last race of the night ..... it's something like a figure 8 race or a run backwards ( clockwise) or have to steer with non dominate hand ... and winner take 50% track takes 50% of the entry

If you have no problem taking suggestions from someone who's never been to any track ever🤣 I'd say to not forget the usual straight long segment of a track without any bumps, so once every round you get to WOT it

How bout a true 5 scale halftime show , with raminators n vektas n stuff doing jumps n bog drags , I broke ground on a track when I was 14 here in Spokane , I’m 68 now and it has been turned into a mosquito races club piece of crap with fools worrying bout messing up the dam dirt !!! Since when is racing the clock been considered racing !!! Throw the clock up in the air and shoot it !! Put five 5 scale rigs on the track and who ever survives is a true winner , now that’s racing if we make a mess hand me a rake for crap sakes don’t make your track a one way situation for racing the stupid clock race other rigs n drivers instead ,,, you know ,,, like you see on sundays on tv don’t see any clock on the screen there just cool cars great drivers and busted up cars trying to beat EACHOTHER !!! Then when we’re done we will smoothe place out so mosquitos can fluff around the track with none of those terrible bumps for car sakes make a fluff track out of carpet so these guys can go do there pretend racing with no troubles at all don’t get me wrong here been there won that then I said well now what ? That’s when I built my own track n started real racing we have blast and no worries of who gets the stupid badge or trophy it’s just another race to the beer after the smoke clears then the fun part of fixing stuff for another battle on the track and for spectators !!! This mosquito fluff racing is nothing it’s like hey man who’s winning. , oh sorry man I took my eyes off my watch for second , I’ve got no idea and neither does ANYBODY ELSE !! until it’s trophy time then everybody gets to guess wich car they had and if they brought there own rake
