Here she is, right out of the box, the new and beautiful hard body for the crawler. The wheel base is perfect, but a lot will have to change on the Axial in order to fit it with the interior.

An hour after she came through the door, this is what I had. The body removed, the stickers taken off, and the rest of it ready for the trash. Beautiful lid, total crapola car.
Look at the chassis. Real springs, locked in place, just for looks.

Oh thank God you got it to the comforter as quickly as you could. I can't imagine what would have happened if it touched carpet.

Glad you arent doing 1.9's man, imo opinion most scalers with 1.9's (not all) look like a truck with 10" of lift and the stock tires.....my opinion.

That's because most 1.9" scalers (not all) have far too long suspension on them. That;s one reason I left my Defender on 2.2"s, they look more scale for the length of shocks it's running.

I'm HOWLING!! LMAO!! Once again, ambushed without warning and getting a knife to the temple. :hehe:

OK, well, on a more serious note, that's a trick body. That'll look nice on the Axial. Quick question. Any practical way to get that interior out of there? Looks kinda hack without the interior detailed. If you can get it out easily, you could do a nice interior treatment on it and really jazz the look.

The interior came out this morning, just to check on the fit to the frame. I'll need to do a lot of changes to make it all work out and still have the interior.
I gave it a good long look-over, and detailing is definitely in order on the inside. I don't just want to run another hollow shell.

it needs a stereo like mine :) lol....i like how theres a spot on the dash that would easily fit a sticker of a gps or in dash dvd.

Rolex, you want a cool look, use the plasti dip spray on the seats, it will give them a leather look. I did the center section of my red Recaro seats to make them two tone and they came out great. I can take a pic if you want.

This one will require a lot of masking. Several years ago I got the giant PT cruiser, and the seats came out separately. Other than removing the dash, which is heat sealed, everything else is one cast unit.
Excellent thought on the dip spray. Does Parma take to it?

The entire chassis with all it's electronic and mechanical components came out in one shot. Right now the Axial is completely torn apart. (I started wondering why I got RTR) I have changed out the suspension to short shocks, and the side plates will have to be replaced to work out the changes.
NC, everything you do is beautiful, so let me see those Recaroes.
