hi guys! well i think i cooked my one-way bearing. it seems to catch about every third or forth go with the roto starter, but won't spin the motor over completely! any advice?? this is to new of a truck to have this many problems!!!

its most likely ur one way bearing but i would check your screws and make sure they are tight in the back of the roto start plate before u replace it.

Take it out and clean it with denatured alcohol. Clean the shaft also. If it's pretty new, it's probably just oil from the rich break in, and it will be fine once it's been cleaned. Soak it, slosh it around, blow it dry and re-install.

Dumb question, what is denatured alcohol? I bought a new owb for my XL and now it is slipping too.

You can get it in any hardware store or paint department. Very similar to rubbing alcohol, but without the distilled water, so it's just pure alcohol.
Denatured meaning it's no longer natural alcohol, so don't try to drink it.
When you clean the bearing, you also need to clean the shaft.
