I have a savage 25 and the one way bearing in it is always going bad and i am wondering why this is happening?

I would not it soak in nitro fuel. The oil in the fuel normally is what's making it slip to begin with. WD-40 does work good and a DA bath is also good. Soak in DA then with a paper tower clean the inside of the rollers, soak....clean....repeat until there is no more crud in it then lightly lube with WD-40. Be sure to clean out the rotorstart or pullstart housing of any residual oil and grime too.

the nitro fuel plain thats not burned yet works its the resdue left over from the fuel that makes it slip

I you think that there will be no oily residue left over from letting it soak in fuel you are sadly mistaken. If you are already having slipping problems why would you want to add any of the same oil that is causing the malfunction to start the problem all over again? That would be like having a couple beers to celebrate beating an alcohol addiction. Really? WD-40 is a light, low viscosity oil which is why you can use it on the OWB. Denatured alcohol or something that will leave NO viscose residue it what he needs.

Yea I wouldn't us nitro fuel either. I always use denatured alcohol. It only costs a few bucks and lasts forever.

O and when stuff evaporates from the nitro fuel it's just going to be oily again....
