One-way bearing help

Time to replace my one-way bearing on my 2.5, and I was wondering if it should be lubricated with anything before it goes in, or installed right out of the package.

I've always just put them on right out of the package.

I would clean the rod that the bearing goes on to, that part that touches the crankshaft, I would put a few drops of 3 in 1 oil or some other light oil. on to the bearing also

Thanks for the replies.. It's back together, and I have another bearing sitting in the box for when this one goes bad.
