After many many failed attempts to fly a Blade CP Pro I gave in and sold it:depress:

I decided I would learn to pilot a heli so I bought another one, this time I would try the Heli-Max Axe cp...Wise decision IMO. The Axe is a little bigger, heavier, and doesn't come with lipo but the motors are a little bigger also. The Axe is a little more stable, I have gone through 4 packs of semi hovering and the blades haven't made contact with anything yet  The last pack I was really feeling it.....If my wife will help I'll get a short vid of it.

Here's a short video, not as good as earlier today but I still haven't broken anything!

that's pretty sweet, i got one of those micro airhogs ones today...its pretty fun in my garage..

should start out with a help that is not controlled pitch, alot easier to fly, then start practicing on the CP's

That would be boring, it was a cp are nothing. An airplane is now on my radar!

Smaxxin, I think you are doing this quite well.
It will take you some time but it took everyone some, including realworld pilots. In the end of the vid you are noticing that the heli 'tips" over backwards, basically because the torque (90 degrees to the right of force) takes over. Everything happens so darn fast and the slightest "over" control will flip them.

Try to keep your pitch hand as calm as possible and if you have flown modelplanes before: try the "hit and let go" method on the controls, that helped me tremendously react quicker and with less impact on what really happens.
Some links for ya!

Thanks for the links, very interesting!

According to the first one "Torque" my heli is backwards, once I use the tail rotor to compensate the main rotor it starts drifting to the left not right....Any idea why?

I'm still trying to get it dialed in, I think it's close but the tail is still a little off. I got the battery charging right now, should be flying in 30 minutes are so.

Good luck with it bro.
Haven't flew a copter yet, but the planes a a blast.

I just finish another session, I was mostly making more adjustments to the pots but towards the end of the battery I held a hover for almost two minutes then the pack died.....Total rush!
