And it's all mine!!! :celebrate3:

'01 Dodge Dakota. Extended cab, 4-wheel drive, with the small v-8. 50,000 miles. I bought it with 23,000 miles on it.
Been trying to pay a little extra on it as we could, so it'll be paid off 10 months early.

Started checking the pay-off a few months ago. Found out I owed $1600 on it, I was dead on autotrader looking at pick ups. That lasted about 10 minutes. Hopefully with that many miles, it should last me a long time. No need to get another payment book.

The day after you pay it off, you can expect it to fall apart. Don't throw out the Auto Trader just yet. j/k I payed off my truck also about a year early as well. It's been running great for almost 3 years after the fact.

72 more payments and you'll have this house paid off.

Neighbor.webp

Congrats! 10 months early is awesome.

Check your gas cap. I know it sounds stupid, but an old, dried out gas cap seal will cause your evap system to fail it's self test and turn on the ses light. It only takes a 20 thousands leak to make it fail the self test.

Nice - I can't wait to get my pick'em up truck paid off. Bout another year and half for me.

damn... every time i get something almost paid off the wife wrecks it... i dont know how she does it, its prolly a 6th sense or something lol... congrats tho!

Yep I have seen that happen before. That or it wasn't tight.

Don't jinx me bro. Check engine light is on now......

thats awesome that you paid it off early. i did the same with my jeep. but 6 months afterwards it started to fall apart. but i'm going to run it into the ground. hopefully its something small and simple. it could always be a sensor that is freaking out.

First ride I have made payments on in 20 some years to be honest.

I know ya rag on me, but I am hillbilly.
Been cash on about every vehicle I have ever owned.
My trade in on the '01 was a '96 I bought at an auction. 2 grand and drove it for 4 years. The Bronco we use to beat around in the woods was an auction vehicle. 'Ol lady drove it for 5 years. Still runs good, but it needs some work.

Oh and the trailer is paid for....

Still making payments on the toilet and my pants.
Bar tab is getting pretty big too, not sure if I'll ever get it paid off. :D

Got paid today.
Big goofy grin on my face, gonna pay it off..
Girl told me I owed $600 last time I made a payment. 2 of them standing there.
I asked them 2 or 3 times if that was before or after the payment I just made...
Before that payment.

Was after the payment I made...
Still owed 600 on it today. 2 payments...

Left me with a dumb look on my face...

Just made me mad. Figured I'd pay it off, leave the 'ol lady with a dumb look on her face on how to pay the bills. :D

Didn't really make me mad, but she did do a print out on it.
If I ciphered it right, I saved a grand paying it off 10 months early...

Naught plus naught equals naught. Naught plus one equals one. Naught plus two equals.... damn I ran out of teeth! now I'll never be able to finish my cipherin.... No wonder I can't balance my check book.

nice, i need to pay of the wifey's edge. I lease a company truck for 110 a month with free fuel/insurance/maintenance. I sure am thankful i'm not covering the rest of the costs.
