Omg.....wtf.....my Engine Case Took A Chunck!!!

my friends(lyle and tyler) and i took my savage to some jumps down by a creek and i started learning how to jump. before you know it i get the hang of it and clear the 12 FOOT GAP...well then they tell me to take it to the next step and i pull off a BACKFLIP....i do three more after that and then i go for the last one aaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnnnnnnddd.........i jump it and it bogs up upside down and i try to pull through it and BAM ...it slams down righton the engine(wasp .28) tyler flips it over and i see that the engine is tilted!!!!! SO I CHECK THE CHASSIS AND ITS FINE, I CHECK THE MOUNTS AND THEY ARE BROKEN IN HALF!!! I TAKE IT TO TYLERS HOUSE AND TAKE OUT THE ENGINE. TURNS OUT THAT THE MOUNTS TOOK A FREAKIN CHUNK OUT OF MY FREAKIN ENGINE CASE!!!!! ARGH....I'm PISSED OFF.....I'm GONNA HAVE TO BY A NEW WASP .28 CASE! if any one has any links to a case for sale please send it to meeeee! oh by the way all lyle did was laugh!!! lol thanks alot FRIEND j/k.

p.s.- this is the strongest truck!!!!(before landing it on the engine) i was running it into trees and doing cartwheels and running it srait to the ground. but my savage withstood all that it had no breakage besides YOU KNOW WHAT!!! oh and does anyone know if orion has a warranty lol!!

it was un believable i was there I'm his friend lyle..the whole time he was backflippin and smashing the crap out of it (hes lucky it didnt break when whe first got there i was amased that he did not strip a servo or break an a-arm) but any way. it was awsome at first i thought that his savage was a piece of sh!t but know i thing otherwise and i just have to say that, that was the best time I've ever had at i jumps



o and whoever thinks that eletric evader st's can't go mudding...there wrong ask dirty25savage

hell yeah, hes got a clear body and by the end of the day it was BROWN!!!!
 
o i can't wait till the day that my t-maxx is finished and runnin so that we can do that to gether...has rusty called you back
 
yeah it was insane i was there too man i wish my t-maxx truggy could withstand the stuff that his savage can!!!!it was insane that the engine broke i was like holy crap!!well have fun trying to fix it i will try to help you out!!

Yes I'm pretty sure Jb weld will do it,but get a couple more opinions before you run off and do it,cause i don't want anybody freaking out because they ruined something.

If I chose to keep the engine(s-25), yes I would have needed a new case at the least, but I decided it was a good time to upgrade my engine rather than invest money into a broken one. Clintd took the broken engine off my hands so I made a few bucks as well. :dancin:
 
This is a great reason to get an RC Solutions roll cage. Most likely you would have kept going and having fun. The worse thing that would happen is you would have to pound out the cage when you got home.

If you intend on doing back flips and having fun, its a great investment.
