i was running my maxx this even, and holy **** was it ever running good ,
wheelie city ,good smoke ,and all that .i checked temps 280 to 290 ,,
i am running a msj fridge head and a motorsaver airfilter for the 2.5
now i am at a loss here ,ppl say tune for temps,ppl say tune for performance
i had ecxellent performance .but hott temps ,it was about 50 degrees here today
how the devil am i to tune this thing ,i tune it for temps likes like crap then tune for performance then runs excellent but hot
what to do what to do.....
please help

You're just SLIGHTLY lean if you hit 307 at the bottom of the tank. Let it idle and check the temp to see how hot it gets. If it's just over 200, the LSN is good. If it's over 220, richen the LSN a little. If the temp is good at idle, and you have good take off, just richen the HSN a hair to bring the temp down. You probably won't notice a loss in performance.
You're REAL close. You just don't want to overheat.
 
ok sounds like a plan .
i am making a run for some traxxas top fuel this weekend ,then finish tuning it ,
btw: i geared it to 16t bell and 72 spur ...holy **** does it ever got the grunt ,,lol
