Looks like Mugen is the only one to sell the JP engines. Retail on the Nova RX .21 is $999!! I wonder what the tag will be on the FX .21. Do you think this is going to be a $600+ engine??
if its a buggy id stay .21 for racing.
from what i read, the RB motors are great
C5 - high end motor, revs forever, good low end with the proper clutch/pipe setup BUT it apparently is a gas hog. great motor for bashing or short races. you will have to pit too many times for a long a-main
Ws7II - more bottom end, still revs alot, great power, but sips fuel, much better for racing as it wont overpower the track. most everyones pick for racing.
all the larger CC motors are awesome, and i want one, but only for bashing, i wouldnt race one.
just look at who wins the races.
also if you dont care about fuel econo or racing RB has a .28 coming out soon thats supposed to rip.

Chris, no bullshit here. The 27 Monster has enough powere for 2 buggies. I hate to say it but it's way past the border on power for a buggy. They have insane top end and the thing really never seems to be able to wind out on a track. Literally you can't get much past 3/4 throttle to keep the thing drivable.
If that what you want and are willing to try to tame a savage beast then this is the engine for you. Error mentioned about the other features and probably provised more insite than I am providing but I don't get that technical. Oh yeah, it comes with a nice bright red bag too...
