Hi,

Do I need to oil the outer (orange) air filter sponge on my Hobao Hyper 7 TQ2??

My blue inner filter is certainly oiled.

@Rickyo007 you do not need to oil the outer filter. I always leave the outer filter dry and the inner filter oiled.

You get to flick all the dust off the outer filter. The oiled inner filter is there to stop any micro particles that got through.

The easiest way and the best way to oil the sponge is placing it in a sandwich bag, add some airfiter oil to it and seal it. Squish it with the air filter oil to saturate it. Make sure you don't over oil because you don't want it blocked at all
