I just bought a motor saver air filter and am curious about filter oil. The main question I have about it is can I use Filter oil that I use on my Yamaha YZ 250??

Yes. I use 3wt oil and that catches all the dirt. Bu the MX filter oil is probably the best.

I'm not sure about that? It would probably work, but I would just go spend the $2.50 an buy Team Associated filter oil that I know will work, just to safe.

The MX airfilter oil works great. says to use that in all of my manuals. But if you want to spend money get the air filter oil.

I use Marvel Mystery Oil. Its like 2 bucks for a quart. Seems to work good, is it ok to use this stuff???

IMO

MMO is to thin and not sticky enough. I'm sure it will work but are you getting the best protection?

Go spend the 3.00 for a product designed and tested for exactly what you are using it for. Don't try to save a few bucks when dealing with engine protection.

OK, Thanx FastEddie. Will be making a trip to LHS today anyways for a new pipe:w00t:

What do you think about K&N filter oil and cleaner. That is what I used and it seems to be working very good. Just wondered hat you thought.

There has been many discussions on the K&N.
Use the search feature and do some reading so you can draw your own conclusion.

I use the K&N filter oil, if it works for my car, it should work fine for my brick...
