I found this buggy for 389.00 at AceHardwareHobbies.com and it seems a little cheap for a PRO kit. Anyone have any experience with it?

That buggy uses the same PVB steering as my budies 9.5 PVB pro and that has the same engine also. I didnt like Ofna's until I saw him trash the hell outta his. That .25 has SO MUCH POWER! My opinion is it is good for the price but it is a basher buggy so if thats what you want its perfect for you.

Wow, I didnt know pro models were bashers only. Damn, But ima probably wanna race because 1/8 buggies get you alota fame. Theres one trick tuner at the track that always wins, Hard as hell to beat him.

The only model of Ofnas that are raced on the Pro 1/8 buggy circut is the Hyper 7 and they are very few and far between. Ofna likes to call everything pro and Ofna doesn't even make that model they sell it for Ho Bao.

Now theres a new Hyper On the Block. The Hyper 7 PBS. It comes with PVB steering, The Brand-Spankin New Hyeper 8 port, and a Comp radio i believe. RTR with a Starter box included!

i have a question - just how different are all these buggies by ofna - i mean 299 for the lx rtr, and 599 for the 9.5pbs? why is one sooooo much more money?

The LX is just a crappy buggy. Its all in the quality and the engine. The engiene is mild but the 9.5 comes with a good engine I believe. I wouldnt go for a OFNA if you had to pay 600 for a 1/8. I dont know...ofna, they just dont seem up to task to provide racing kits. The Hyper 7 PBS looks up to speed though. Anyone own one yet?
