the drill start is not catching to tun the motor to start it , didnt know if there was a way i can fix this without driving 2hr round trip to hobby shop,or can i make a homemade starter with somesort rubber ring like 12v starters that u use directly on the flywheel

Have you tried removing the one way bearing and cleaning it?

Would agree with snook. Gotta think your 1 way is junk. You can try cleaning but they typically can't be brought back to life and need replacement

yea I've cleaned it its working now ,,kinda, is there another way i can start it?

Methods like a pull starter, roto start or electric start to start a land based nitro engine other than the Starter box and flywheel method will require a One Way Bearing.
If you can figure out a more reliable way, you could retire with some coin in the bank…

my exhaust gasket is bad,,, oil getting in the drill start cover causing the bearing to slip, i can take it off and clean it and works fine , anyway i can make a fly wheel starter out of drill or dremel or grinder, and is there away to make an exhaust gasket
