how big and how much weight does the monster pirate tires add and do u need a bigger moter then stock 15:spam

The Pirate tires and rims are very heavy. Plus, you have to have the aluminum adapters which add that much more weight and cost. You will also have to reduce your gear ratio to help push those big tires up to speed. A .15 will push them, but you will see a decrease in performance, especially if you don't regear. If you are looking for some larger tires I would suggest looking into the 40 series tires from Pro-Line. They aren't quite as large as the OFNA's, but they are larger than stock. I think they are a better looking tire and rim combo than the OFNA, and you don't have to spend the extra cash on the adapters. Another, option is using the Duratrax Nitro Quake tires on stock rims. They will fit, but it takes alot of work seating them on stock rims. Plus, these tires are pretty hard and don't provide much traction.

cool thanks i just love these tires the look ect .......... but thanks 4 the feed back:beard:plus what gear set up do i need

If you drop down to an 18t clutch bell with a 72t spur it will compensate for the increase in the diameter of the tire. Of course, you will be adding quite a bit of weight so a 16/72 combo would probably be better. The 16/72 will only drop your top speed about 5 mph over stock. If you purchase a new clutch bell you might look a the Racer's Edge. They are inexpensive and the bearings are included. Plus, they spin on three bearings instead of two like the Traxxas.
