Ok, I searched and searched and I can not find it anywhere else. The instructions that were posted here make no sense to me. Is there any other place where I can get the instructions? I would ask the original poster but it would seem he has been banned.

I did not like the way he did the mod, I've have done mine TOTALLY different. I will be doing a how to as soon as time allows. I will see if I can get some pics up tonight for you.

i also did mine different because i didnt think it was well thought out. So ill see if we did it the same when u post ur pics

I bought a longer servo arm and an additional slider to do mine. I put the slider for the brake linkage on top of the servo arm and then I put the slider for the throttle on top of the brake slider and used a nut and bolt to secure them both. I bought the longer servo arm because I believe the stock arm was to short to provide maximum throw. In my opinion, this setup is much more sturdy then in the write-up you saw(which is probably the same that i used as a guideline to do mine). Hope this helps you out, if not let me know and i'll try to get into more detail but right now I have to go to work.

Anyways, I don't have a digi-cam so i can't take pictures. I'll make it out of the stone age someday.

heres some pics of mine

Mine is setup like shorty's pic except I used an Ofna aluminum servo arm instead of the stock servo saver, and I kept the thumb adjuster for the brakes for easy adjustments.

that is not stock cus i got rid of the C spring and superglued the to bits together and my radio has digital adjustment on it so no need for that

Thanks for the help guys. I think I was just burnt out when I first posted. It still took some staring and reading over and over to understand that write up. Someone definitely needs to redo the write up for newbs like me.

Hey Shorty or somebody , could you show a pic of the bend in the throttle rod . I've had the parts to do this mod for a while but have worried about screwing it up, There are no good pictures of how the rod is bent , Thanks.

It does not need to be perfect but just use the stock one as a guide and when you put it on, bend as needed.

Here is a pic of how I did mine, however it is still a work in progress, so it's still a little rough. I want to come up with a better way of hooking the brake linkage rod up, maybe a way that I can still use a thumb adjuster for the brakes. I thought the ofna slider way of doing it looked real hack, maybe it works good, but it still looks like a hack job. I spent quite a bit of time, trial and error, to come up with mine. I plan on doing a detailed how to as soon as time allows.

throttle linkage

NCNitro, hope you do a step by step soon. w/some close ups .out of all the set-ups i have seen yours looks the best ,I'm getting ready to do it and i want to set it up like how you have it .mainly just need the part #s .

agreed that is the cleanest and nicest throttle mod i have seen yet, great work NCNitro i just did mine and looks more like the write up which is flawed. like the fact u ran the throttle on the outside beside brake linkage, looks very slick

Thanks guys, now that my move is finally complete, I will try and get a full how to for this up soon. I owe Scottm, a review that I need to finish first, but I will have them both up very soon.

mod

Cool ,thanks. What size of swivel ball end did you use on the throttle end, and also what size linkage rod is that?

do you all have any of the part numbers for the items needed for either of the linkage mods above?
