I just recently picked this engine up. Does anyone have any input on its performance. Pro's/con's???

always like Piccos. ran them in most all my Traxxassssss Rcs. run one now in my 1/8th Jammin. well its a Jammin XJP .21, but its made by Picco.

I ran one in an LST and really liked it. It tuned easy and had plenty of power.

I just put a Jammin .28 in my Hyper ST. I have yet to run it,...but I have owned several piccos engines and they are performers for sure.

i just got a picco. 26max and I'm loving it to hell. lots of power , i had to switch my gearing cause evertime i would punch the throttle i would do a backflip.

Thanks everyone. I just dropped it in to a converted Terra Crusher. I think it will be alot better than the old power plant.

If you are talking about the standard Ofna Picco 26 outlaw and not the one drop in for the TMAXX, then I can say that mill is a great performer. I ran one for a gallon in a 1/8th buggy and savage. It was a great engine!!! I since sent it off to a buddy.. NCNITRO.

Talon, hows that Jammin 28?

To be honest I am having trouble with it.....it leaks......bad....I am removing it tonight and sending it back.

I just ppicked up a Racers Edge Sure Fire .32 (cheap) for the time being....I have my eye on an RB concepts 928 in the future...

thats a shitter. my 21 has about 1.5 gals on it and its just getting better.

Yes, I generally like the ofna/picco stuff.....but while I was at the LHS today they had three of the same jammin.28 that were having air leak troubles.....perhaps a bad batch here on the west coast.....

We will see......

Back to the .26 outlaw for those of you that just tuned in for that.

I've been running one for 4 seasons in my Savage and it has about 7 gallons through it. It makes a lot of power but it is a bit tricky to tune. Mine seems to run strongest at about 210 degrees. I've been racing it hard at the track for a few years now and it refuses to die. I tore it down completely at the 5 gallon mark and it still looked great inside.

Mine still has great compression but I might finally swap it out for the new Picco .28 that has been sitting in my basement for 2 years.

You should try to locate a 9mm carb insert. Nitrohouse sells them.

I think it comes with an 8mm insert, what would be the advantage of the 9mm insert ??

More top end. The Picco 26 has TONS of low end and it could use all the top-end help it can get. There are also two different Low Side Needles available for it.

I see that there is a black needle and a silver needle for the low end adjustment, what would the difference be for them??
