will the ofna micro failsafe work with an alkaline pack? the duratrax one says do not use alkaline. some help would be nice, thx

There's no restriction mentioned on the Ofna site. Says it will work with 4.8v to 6.0v so it should be fine with alkalines. I have 3 and they all work great, but I have NiMH packs in all my rides.
 
Need to be careful using any failsafe with alkaline batteries.
Rechargeable will stay above the minimum voltage for around 80-90% of the discharge cycle. alkaline for much-much less time.
