Hi guys. would anyone know where I can get a new crankshaft for a OFNA / HOBAO mach.28 6 port engine. The engine was brand new. Damaged in the post!!! Ahhhhhhhhh....

Well, if it's purchased brand new, from the factory (or from a storefront), you could contact the store you purchased it from - they might be able to help you there.

However, if it's a used engine, www.ebay.co.uk would be your best bet.

That aside, I don't think Ofna makes a "Mach" .28. Perhaps you mean Dynamite?

Thanks for the reply. The engine is a HoBao Mach 28 Std Plug 6-port Pull Start Engine. It came brand new from ebay from someone who replaced it with an upgrade and didn't use it.

Tried both websites but no luck. Will keep searching. Thank you for you help.

Sorry I couldn't find you the exact link to the crankshaft directly, but I did manage to find a few links that may be of help. First off is the Hobao factory homepage;

http://www.hobao-racing.com/team_hobao.php

If emailing them doesn't turn up a crankshaft for you, you can try this site here:

http://www.podiumrc.co.uk/

Try giving them either a call or an email via their contact information here:

I really do hope that helps! Good luck with the part quest!

Thank you!! Sorry Just another quick question. For my Hyper 7 Pro which engine would be better the HO BAO MACH 28 ENGINE 6-PORT P/S or the HYPER 21 8-PORT PRO N/PS w/BOOST ATTACHMENT. Please forgive my ignorance!!

They're both going to be extremely close, performance wise. The only difference is you will need a starting box for the 8-port. You might see some overall performance increase, but it really will be minute, unless you're on a track.

Thanks you for your replies it has been a real help.
