ANyone have any opinion on the OFNA 9.5 pro. friend want to trade a loaded T-maxx for one and I'm in the dark about buggies to some degree.....how do they compare with Kyosho and Mugen? he says the buggy has every upgrade possible.

Decent buggy, not the top of the line, but its a mid level entry buggy. Mugen and Kyosho buggies are on a different scale

It's not a bad place to start If you want to race. it will let you get a good feel for how things go. Now it really can't be compaired to an Mugen or Kyosho because those are far more advanced buggys then a 9.5

what would you recommend between the mayhem and the OFNA?
I can get one of those for 300 or trade a T-maxx (nothing is stock on this truck and it's a race machine....)....the trade is roller for roller the sale is complete RTR about a gallon through it...

i think i would keep the Maxx if its been completely done for racing. you can buy a ofna or mayhem as a roller for pretty cheap new. just drop in a spare motor and radio gear and your up and running with a car you know the history of.

would it make a difference if I said the OFNA is FULLY hooked up and never ran (again I'm going on friends knowledge of these) supposedly it has all the carbon fiber and cnc parts you can get for it...but it's just a Roller....the only reason I'm asking again is it really "looks" bad ass and I'd hate to see a good deal get by. On the other hand I like my T-maxx but I don't reallly run it that much....maybe 2 tanks when i go to the track...does this info change anyones mind or should I still wait to get a mugen or kyosho.....and I promise this is the last time I ask this..

I would do what Kyosho138 said, The Inferno 777 is an awsome buggy and it can be found for as low as 350$. Most places have it for 400$ but it can be found cheaper. If you really don't want to keep your maxx then trade, but if you like your maxx keep it and maybe get a Inferno 777.

there is no difference at all in the handeling of the Sp1 and the standard... I'm getting th stadard and putting the blue medium springs on it... 9.5 is an ok buggy but it wont compare to a mp777
