OFNA 8 port race porting help?

I Wouldn't normally worry about porting this engine but it is in a top fuel rail. Longevity is not much of an issue but I would also like it to last a while. I have an idea of what i need to do but any help would reassure me. The car will not be competitive with the stock motor. I am also running 40-50% depending on outside temp.

Sounds cool. Do you have any pictures of your RC? If you do a search on the site you will find different topics on porting.

nealracing1978, i have the 8-port race. i also know a guy here locally that makes a living porting engines. He charges $40 for a lite-basher mod and $75 for a racing mod.

he does some sweet work and i only wish i knew about his service before i fired up my engine (he likes to mod them new).

i don't know if he will help you, but he could do one hell of a job for you.

he really wants to see the insides of the 8-port race. i'm going to let him fart around with it when racing season peters out around here.
