is this a good engine to put in my NMT cause i was think of buying cause i can gte the conversion kits..
any thoughts on this? anyone done this yet?

If you consider this, you'll want to upgrade diff bevel gears and add a metal spur gear as well since the Hyper 8P will litterly shred them due to its powerful powerband and top end. But hey, go for it- nothing like watching a little 3.5 pounder zip across the terrain with a "hemi" :D

do u got a part number for the diff. gears? i was leaning towards a epic .18 ytoo what do u tghink about this engine is it good?

and if i get a meatl spur how many teethe spur would i need to get to make it go faster?

thanks fro ya help to

That's off hpiracing website, should be the correct ones. Hearing from some reliable sources about the Epic .18, it's a definately good powerhouse motor and should produce more than enough power, be sure you go with the long threaded shaft and try to get the slide carb.

As for the spur gear you can go with the 48 or 49T gear to raise the top speed however I suggest sticking with the 52T and gearing down a tooth or two on the clutchbell (11T or 12T).

Here's an example I found off someone's website on NMT mods:

I use an OFNA MBX throttle linkage, I suppose if I flipped the servo I might have enough reach for the OFNA MBX brake linkage too.
