Hey guys. I have an off road rc10gt with a .18 CV-R in it from O.S. and a Nitro 4-tec with a Pro 1.5 in it. I dont really have anywhere to drive my Off road truck except in the street. I really want to take it off roading but have never gotten around to it. I am burning through tires on the pavement. I just got the Nitro running and it is a completely different feel. Its fun but I am not used to it. I really want to take it to the track and see what I can do, but I am always working on it. I guess thats part of the hobby. I was thinking about selling both cars on E-bay and buying a CEN racing ct5, Its a touring sedan that is supposed to go 75+ mphs. That sounds like tons of fun and I am assuming it will work alot better since its brand new, and the 4-tec I got was old and picked up off a buddy. I replaced all the parts to get it running agian. but its still old. And I am not sure if its worth gettting rid of the truck. One day I might get to take it off roading. Any thoughts.

In my situation, off-roading is about the only choice I have unless I want to drive somewhere. Off-road is good on the grass (short grass anyway), gravel or dirt. The road we live on is maintained by the county since we're outside of the city limits and it's paved, but pretty rough. I thought about getting a touring type car, but I'm afraid I'd get bored with it pretty quickly or wouldn't be able to use it often enough to justify buying one.

Any sugettions on what good tires for my RC10Gt would be so I can run it on the road without buying new tires every time I drive it. I would like to get a set of Tires for when I take it off road some day but the off road tires just where out way to quick on the pavement. All the on road tires I have seen are for Touring cars.

don't bother with the CEN, keep the two you have. As far as tires go for your truck, I would go for something like Proline Road Hawgs or Road Hawg 2. Personally, I would purchase a pair of RH's for the back and a pair f RH2's for the front. That should give you a little better handling at the nose once you get the suspension dialed in.
