Which glow plugs wld be better for my Revo 3.3 running 25%...??

I've been using the standard 3232x from Traxxas but have heard the O.S plugs are better..??

Is this correct...? If so shld i get the LC3 or LC4..
I'm not that educated on the topic of hot/medium glow plugs.. why wlh i choose one over the other..??

Thanks guys :)

i have an OS no.8 in mine right now ..works just fine ..seems to last longer than the traxxas ones ....i also had good luck with Mccoy ( dont remember the number )

i had an LC3 or LC4 .but it didnt last long ( my engine had overheating problems ..air leaks)...but i heard they are decent plugs ;)

So u think the No.8 is better than the lc3 & lc4..??

I'm lookin on ebay now and they are cheaper anyway

here ..found this online ...it might help shed some light on the glowplug heat range subject ;)

dont know if the no.8 is better ..but i know they work just fine in my 3.3 ;) ...only problem with them is that they dont fit the ezstart wire ..i have to grind the tip a bit so the wire clips on it ..if i remember correctly ..the LC3 ( thats what i had ) will fit the wire

here is another link i found usefull for choosing plugs

Thanks, that was very helpful :)

Actually points out what I've been doing wrong..
I thought the higher the nitro the hotter the engine so the hotter the plug..
How wrong i was.. its the complete opposite.. Damn

Also great info on how to read the plug.. wet/dry etc..
What did you use to grind the plugs..? A dremel tool..?
Thanks again

no prob ;) glad i could be of some help ;)

i use my dremel with a grinding disc ...but you have to be careful not to grind it to much , or the wire will not clip on it

Think i might just use a glow ignitor..
i say this cause I've just bought 12 of the no.8's off Ebay
See how they go :)

i use both ;) glow ignitor and the ezstart ....i use the ignitor to start it when cold ...once warmed up , i put the wire back and let her rip :D..that way i dont have to carry the ignitor ...just the wand ;)
