Here is the piston out of my O.S. .30 after just 3-4 gallons..I have no idea what caused this..

Did you find any dirt in there?
Looks like something was in there.
 
I wouldn't have thought a glow plug coil could cause that much damage, that thing is trashed. How is the rest of the engine?
 
I did that to a S25 mill. The coil from the glow plug was the cause.

Doesn't O.S. have a good waranty? Tell him this just happend for no reason haha. Sorry about what happend, I guess when an engine is spinning 30K RPMs a little coil can do that.
 
that kind of looks like it leaned out and melted...but what do i know?..lol hows the power on that bad boy (before) i was thinking about buying one
 
It has tons of power.I have another one and it rocks.I'm going to sell it for parts..I don't want to wait till a P/S set is in stock at TowerHobbies.
