If you had to buy only one item from the list below, what would your choice:

1. Blue Threaded Shock Set
2. Tuned Spring Set -9 Pair
3. MIP CVD bones
4. Rear suspension version 2 upgrade kit
5. Failsafe
6. Receiver buttery pack
7. Any other – please suggest

I already have the following:
1. Associated Nitro TC3 Blue Aluminum Main Shaft
2. Nitro TC3 Blue Front Shaft Cup
3. Break cam bearing kit
4. Steering bearing kit

Thanks.

unless I'm missing something you need the receiver battery pack to run your car..

but otherwise id go with the failsafe..its not pretty or fun and it doesn't make you go any faster but it will save your a$$ someday
if you have ever seen one of these cars go haywire ( another rc`er on the same channel or low / dead battery ) you know the value

think about throwing a bowling ball blindly at 50mph! it could cause a lot of damage to something / someone :arrr:

UMMMMMMMM this is a no brainer ...

FAILSAFE !!!!!

something about a 50mph missle going where it wants .... without the failsafe you might be looking at a longer list of parts some day ..... and hopefully no-one will get hurt by the run-a-way

In order:
Failsafe
MIP CVD's
Threaded shocks
Version 2 rear
Receiver pack

to add to the list in no particular order ....
Throttle return spring
3 racing 4mm chassis
stiffer clutch springs OR 3 shoe clutch with stiffer springs
21/27 spur & 54/48 spur combo
"The fix" for the front diff

Thanks, guys.
I already have the f"fix".
Diver, which 3 shoe clutch would you recommend?

The AE optional 3 shoe clutch is fine. I used mine all season and it performed very well. Just make sure to check for glazing every so often, especially if the engine starts to slip. You didn't say which engine you have but take a look at how the gears match up on the clutch bell and spurs. Are they square? If not, get some shims to place behind the collet so that the outter edge of the pinion matches with the outter edge of the spur. Youll get even wear and proper distribution of torque on the spur.

You can get a shim package from serpent. I can't remember what the p/n is but ask your LHS and they'll steer you straight (hopefully).

Thanks diver. I have stock AE RT (not plus) engine.

will I nedd adifferent 3 SHOE FLYWHEEL?

Novarossi ns12s3, it's not on the list, but it's definitely a must

Hard to find these days, but if you can find it, GET IT! It's the same engine that Kwong and I use. I will live and die by this engine. Always a performer and very easy to tune.

It should fit just fine. It's a direct replacement.

The "Fix" is basically a remedy for a weak front end. When you hit something hard enough, in the front, the front suspension will take the brunt of the hit and will shift and break your diffhousing and shock tower rendering your car useless. The "fix" is basically screws that go through the bottome of the diff, from the chassis, all the way to the top of the diff where a cap screw coming from the top of the shock tower will screw into the longer screw. This will keep the front suspension from shifting and bullet proof your front end. Of course, hit something hard enough and/or enough times and your car will break. At least with the "fix" your car has a fighting chance.
