what are some preglued tires from tower hobbies that will fit the ntc3?

invader - those are for the TC3, not the NTC3. those are electric tires. they will fit, but last about 30 seconds, lol.

Go with the Trinity TRC's like i mentioned before.

here are some links:

Foams won't always work for every place. At my LHS, they run on strictly rubbers since they can't get a whole lot of traction.

I've ran my foams in their parking lot and it runs like the whole parking lot has a thick layer of grease.

So tire choice (you probably know this...lol) do depend on what kinda pavement you're running on.

sure it does kwong - but even if u are running on ice, lol, a foam tire will stick better.

Not always...trust me, if they ran so good than why doesn't anybody run the foams when they're racing?

In most cases, foams will work better

show me proof of a national race where someone is running rubber bands, kwong.

You come to my state and i'll take you to my LHS when they're racing and you see how many people run foams...nobody does.

I said that generally people run foams...but there ARE cases where foams don't always work as well as rubbers.

I'm sure all the national races they strictly run foams, they also have the best tracks around and give the best traction.

And yes I know generally foams give WAY better traction than rubber, I run foams myself

invader - i already told u what rubber tire to get. Purchase the mdeial pro - they are premounted, and dont use inserts. if u get the hard compound, they will last close to a year. the website is above, in my previous post, but u can get them at any local hobby shop.

That's not really true.. On wet ashpalt (or ice for that matter) rubber works much, much better. I'm using Pit Shimizu rubber tires, and they work perfect for me.. When it's wet that is!

By the way: You could also go for some really hard shores foam-wise. Like 45 shore or something. That will last long as well, but if everyone at your local track is using rubber I guess its best to stick with that..

where i live there arent too many hobbie stores. there is only hobby people. so i buy onnline at tower hobbies. I think I'm just going to glue my own tires,

Nitroaddict is correct. But with all due respect.... Wrong in some places.

Nats have ..shall i say most times will have a BETTER surface then most Local Tracks.

Try and run foams here at our LT...and you wont stick. Sorry, even the fast guys who run at a higher level will do the same here on this track.

However they just redid the track with new asphalt.. Rubber tires MIGHT just be a thing of the past now.

well, i already went and bought yokomo dish wheels and tires they work fine where i drive.

At my Lt.. BOTH....

Electric is the main action here. But theres not a single person who will run foams.

As for the nitro guys( who run at a diffrent track which is a parking lot race I run) there is a mix of both. Then again its a diffrent surface from the other track.

The perm track is sealed with that sealer you would get from a home improvement store. The parkinglot track is a ruff un-sealed parking lot.

So i would have to say it all depends on the prep and the track itself.

your answer confirmed my thoughts. when i mention foams, i am speaking of nitro only. at my local track, EVERY electric guy runs rubber tires, but u will never see a nitro guy doing that. and this track is also sealed. nitro cars tend to just stick better with foams.
