is it possible to convert my ntc3 to use regular unleaded gas from the gas station? like put in a different motor or something..??

gas engines that run off of unleaded wouldn't work for the small cars. They do use weedwacker engines for the 1/5 scale cars but they don't make one small enough for the 1/10 1/8...

I don't know about r/c car but I know they have conversion kits to convert gas airplane engines into diesels...but diesel is a lot more messier

You can't, these rc engine has too high of a compression to do so. RC fuel is also a lube for the piston and sleeve. You might not be able to fine a engine that is small enough to run unleaded gas. To make things simple, it's better to run what we have now.
