Well all WAS well until I ran acroos a patch of some loose dire on the asphalt and my NTC3 slid underneath one of those huge dumpster that can fit a car in it..Well My front gear box was tore up. The shock tower broke away from it and the left shock cap broke off. After I replaced it my tires tranny doesn't seem the same. I was always able to spin my front tires and there would be no problem.NOW after a couple of turns both spin opposite from each other. I know that when it was apart I checked the diff and retightend it up to the team spec ( kit instructions) . I am a little SKirred about starting it and chewing up the front gears!! Is this allright or should I take it apart again?:constipat

Its acting as a Traction control, like on a real car. what did you exactly do to the diffs, just the front one you rebuilt or back?
Or maby you didnt tighten it enough or too much.....

I tightened it like the book said to. All the way in then a1/4 of a turn out. And yes it was only the fronts!.

Dirt in the Diffs?
Check for broken or even slightly chipped gears. The dirt will also make the gears seem...Sketchy if you put it that way.

I looked and it looked dirt free. Does it matter how tight you screw down the gear box? The instructions say not to overtighten.

If you overtighten you will easily strip the threading on the case for the gearbox itself. Been there and done that.

Just stop when it snugs up fast.

Christian-does it affect the gears in anyway?

but nothing that would come into contact with the tranny case?

been a while but now I have got my ntc3 running well and I am trying to adjust the LSN and HSN and the idle screw. I reduced the idle since it was idling to high. Well I tried to lean out the HSN and now it bogs out when I give it gas. I am thinking I have to adjust the LSN due to the changes I made. Please correct me if I am doing this wrong!!!
