Just finished watching the 11pm news. The first story tonight was the about the first "Blizzard of 04" According to the weather guys we (Michigan) are under a winter weather advisory for pretty much all of Wednesday. They predict the weather to get ugly mid to late afternoon. The NWS just upgraded the projected total to 6 inches. Biggest bar night of the year + first snow storm = a receipt for disaster. We will have to wait and see.

Hey mcvickj, how are you doing? I've been away for awhile but I'm going to make an effort to get online here more often. As for the snow, I think we will be getting some of that snow here in Buffalo. I can't wait for snow season because I haven't been skiing in years and I just bought a pair of Volkl skis. Let it snow!

Hello scotthg1. Glad to see your still around. I am also looking forward to the snow. I have an Artic Cat waiting in my uncle's polebar just waiting for the first good snow fall.

So far it looks like the weather guys got this one right. I left for work at 3 and I had to blow the dust off my snow brush and put it to use. Its the really wet snow. It started snowing pretty hard around 2pm and it shows no signs of letting up any time soon.

LOL. You sound like NA. I'll never forget when I went down to visit last January when he was complaing about it being cold and it was like 65. He left his coat in the car from the previous day and didn't want to go out and get it. Poor guy had a t-shirt, sweatshirt and a jacket on and he had his heat on high. All the while I'm sitting next to him with jeans and a t-shirt. Started out like 63 during the morning and I believe it got up around 68ish or so. Perfect weather IMO. If there is one thing I can not stand it is being too warm.

Of course anything is prefect when you leave a place that was 10 degrees and ice all over the roads. I didn't think we were ever going to get off the ground when I was leaving GR.

It's supposed to get cold here this weekend too, somewhere in the low 60s, lol. Man I really miss the snow, and by the way, since when is 6 inches a blizzard? When I lived in NC, 6 inches meant it was time to break out the Maxx, and throw some snow roosters.

Nice pic NCNitro, I agree, 6" means its time to get the Savage going and see how long you can go in the snow before it gets stuck lol. You can also build some insane jumps out of snow

I agree with you NCNitro. It looks like a blizzard outside but thats about it. Certainly nothing I would write home about. hehe I just went outside on the loading dock to take a look and it seems they have plowed the streets and salted.

I checked the Michigan State Police road report and they mention there is a thin coat of ice on the roads and some white out areas, especially in rural areas. Just means I'm going to have to keep an eye out for the stupid people. Folks around here seem to freak out with the first sign of snow and forget how to drive.

Jon2, It held up great! I ran it in the snow quite a few times, it just requires proper maintenence after running, and I NEVER ran it after they salted, which was rare in my neighborhood anyway.

I love driving in the snow, especially with a savage becasue I have a center skid plate so the steering servo is pretty well protected and the throttle servo is on the top so it is fine so you don't have much to worry about as far as radio equipment.

I'm always up for another trip to Flordia. I would make sure to ship the fuel system and engines early. I don't feel like going thru that same crap like last time. What a mess. lol.

I would really like to set something up again for this winter, and you can always ship your stuff to me. I shipped ImBroken and Wilson cats stuff back for them last time. Maybe this time I could even get a banner, but I doubt it.
