Well - I am officially the new moderator for the RC Car forums at RCUniverse.

Congratulations, you are now an RCU moderator! The car forums are growing by leaps and bounds on RCU and I'm looking for guys like you to further the growth. It can also be a difficult group to moderate so if you have any questions please let me know. You should also now see the Moderators Private forum at the top of the forum list. This forum is designed for moderators only to discuss all things RCU and to have a little fun at each others expense some times.

Other than that, have fun and take advantage of the experience we have in some of the moderators by asking questions in the Mod forum. Better to ask first then not be sure of a decision you're about to make. We don't delete any posts on RCU rather move them to the Bad Post Holding forum. Also browse through the Mod forum to get an idea of how things work. Just PM me if you need anything or don't understand a function and I'll be glad to help. You can also ask in the mod forum. How much has that place changed since the last year or so? Back then they only shoved everything that was rc cars and trucks into a forum or two for cars and trucks while everything else was for boats and planes. I haven't seen it since they re-done the site - I've yet to every find a site that so just so good that you should register before you can even view what your registering for, so I won't register there. :\

The funny thing is I was made a mod over at banned.....I can't believe how busy that job is. It's practically full time. I hope the RCU site isn't as busy as banned, or you will have no life outside of it.

woodie - it doesn't have the "family" feel that RCNT has, so it will never become a home like here, however - it has grown by leaps and bounds, 70,000 members. The car section has also grown. it is about as large as the RC Forum section here.

haha. banned had about 300 members, and 1200 posts. how about these stats?
