new engine starting problems

hey, i just put a new nova ns12s5 engine in my rs4 3, but i'm having trouble actually getting the sucker started... any help on starting brand new engines? i can't even get it started, much less break the dam thing in

can you get the engine to turn over? is it too tight? If that's the case, use a hair dryer to heat up the engine block then try to start it.

i had similar problem with my cx12 i put a new glow plug in & started straight away you could try this
