Novak HV rubbish

Hey guys. The other day I slipped a 6.5 turn HV Novak into an RC8T because my MMM V3 didnt arrive for raceday.
At first I was disappointed because it was slow, but after gearing it DOWN, got some great track speed and good temp range.
Then after 4 races she started screaming like the pinion came loose.
I checked that, the centre diff, and started scratching my head 'till I realised the motor shaft wasn't turning.
Thats right after 4 races, 3 sets of batteries the magnet pulled off the rotor shaft.
I couldn't believe my eyes, and have emailed Novak asking them kind of nicely to replace the rotor. (fingers crossed)
I have since put my other HV system up for sale and have vowed never to buy another Novak.

P.S Its not just me, I have CC, Neu, Speed Passion and even my Velineons have never given me the Novak Nerves.....

maybe it was just one unit?
Novak makes great motors and ESC which are priced very high as well.
did they reply to you yet?

No not yet. Still waiting. I use their GTB speedies, but its honestly the only thing I found I can rely on.
I will check out their Havoc speedies too, later on...
