I saw this part on Nova's site they call it the power trap is anyone using it or does anyone have info about the performance this gives you? How does it work?

I would imagine that it would work, becuase in order to make more bottom/acceleration, u need a longer header or a longer pipe. And this extends the length, and it also acts as an extra chamber, which means it will create more back pressure and even save some fuel. I say: more acceleration and better fuel efficiencey. I am considering one right now.

Thats what I thought aswell. If you get one please tell me if it works. I am new to this so do not no all this stuff about longer pipes and all that, the other thing is how does it look in the inside cause Its gonna be expensive for me to import to South Africa so I want to make it myself. So if you get it will you send me photos or info about it ?

I just ordered one. I'm going to slap it on my new truck the day it gets here. unfortunately I wont be able to provide much of an answer as to the performance raise, as It's going on the truck before I ever even run it.

Can you send me pics of the part when you get it? I want to see how it looks on the inside please!

i've read about people just using copper pipe to extend their pipe,... just make sure the inner diameter is not smaller than your pipe, because then it will limit the flow.... I don't know if boosts performance as much,....
read around, i read a post about that somewhere....

Isn't that the way this power trap works ? By limiting the flow you get more back presure which leads to more eficient burning of the feul that leads to better performance?

"The exhaust is briefly trapped in the chamber causing a slight back pressure, forcing the engine to burn the fuel more efficiently, and producing more low end and mid range power with an astonishing increase in acceleration."

This is what is said on the link that I prevouisly gave

The air is cooled somewhat and produces a very slight "Back Preasure". I don't really understand how this would accelerate the engine or add to performance. I would think all it does it give an overall extesion to your exhaust pipe while cooling the air somewhat. Oh well, Mine is still in the mail.
