my engine is starting fine like under 4 pulls when it is cold and a nice bit of smoke is comming out under WOT but when it is up to operating temp the only way to get it started is with the throttle 1/2 way open or more, however it will idle for about 5 sec before dying anyone have an idea what to do with the LSN or is that even the problem area? thanks in advance all

ok first off i think you have a .12 or a .15 so here's my suggestion did it run fine before this have you made any changes ex glowplug fuel needle settings ? i would go on the engine companies website and set it back to factory

You should also try anew glo plug if yu haven't alredy sometimes when they heat up, the coils expand and loose contact.. poof they did.. they get cold, shrink up and make contact again worken just enought o get you frusterated

it sounds as if your LSN is lean. under this condition, you engine will provide good smoke at WOT, but the rest of the time its lean and slowly overheating. when your engine gets so hot it dies, it will be difficult to restart until it cools down.

also if you let it idle and die, how does it sound? does it just slow down and die or does it rev up a bit just before stalling?

doesn't really seem to rev up much it is a .15 and i had it at factory and started to lean it out but at factory settings there was raw fuel comming out of the pipe i have not had a chance to do any adjusting as there is snow on the ground and i have stripped my spur gear but i was thinking it had to do with the LSN being too something I will keep you posted on how it turns out

Have you checked the clutch assembly? make sure that is assembled right.

all is good in the clutch as far as i can tell there is only a slight amount of wear onthe clutch shoes

What would either symptoms indicate?
