I recently got a tMaxx off ebay, engine was dead so I fitted a Pico .26, just about finished running it in now, but its not shifting to second. Its defiantly revving hard enough and the slippers tightened down, I've opened the rubber bung and turned the grub hex anti clock wise to no effect. When I first looked the hex was screwed all the way in and i was able to hold the spur with the cut out visible and rotate the stub shaft poking out the front of the box to find the hex, now when I rotate the shaft the inner section the grub hex bit doses not rotate.

Is it time to strip the box and look for damage?

you need to put a higher Clutch bell on. the picco doesn't have the same max RPM that the 3.3 or 2.5 does. so to compensate put a lower Clutch bell on. see if it shifts then

I decided sod it and took the tanny out, looks like I managed to loosen the grub that holds it to the shaft. ANy way tightened down and will give it a try tomorrow.
