I need help fast!! Since I took reverse out of my T-Maxx, the truck will not shift into 2nd gear. I have been through about every point that you can have on the adjustments and it still doesn't, and if somethings broke, is there a way to fix it, or something. I'm lost, I usually don't ask for help, but with me going to a new track, with a long straight, and huge sweeper, I kinda need 2nd gear. So please any advise will help. Thanx.

I would open up the tranny and see if any thing is broken. I would also suggest you clean all the grease off the gears and use graphite powder instead of grease. also open up the gears and see if the springs or things are sticking.

there is a clutch inside of your 2nd gear and it has the problem of sticking if it gets dirty i took my hole tranny apart like 10 times be4 i looked at it its silver and if its bad hpi makes one and its cheaper then traxxas and its the same thing just cheaper

Hey, we got it working. Just needed a good cleaning, like alot of grease and build up was in there, and I guess was not letting it shift, so thanx for the in  put.

just curious,
you didnt regrease it did ya???
unless your using all metal gears dont use grease
i use powdered graphite in mine and works flawlessly
