i can't drive my r/c car for a while cause i burned my eyes and hand today at work i can't eben look at the screen

SunGlasses Sun Lotion and a RC simulator. I thought that Duratrax cameout with an Offroad SIm but I can't source it.

They did, Jon; RealRace. It's been discontinued for a while now. It's a shame; it was a really great sim. Sierra did make a game that's a fairly fun one, called "Radio Control Racers". There was a Traxxas edition released a bit ago. You can get a copy fairly cheap on ebay (under $10).

qaart; sorry to hear about your luck man. Jon2 pretty much nailed it. A pair of those granny glasses that wrap around, so light doesn't get in as easy, and some lotion with aloe in it will help you out.

hell sunglasses wont help I'm a weilder and the light went through my eyelids

Ya know amigo, they make welding masks.... Might be worth investing in one so you don't end up wearing those little ol' lady glasses indoors for the rest of your life.

All kidding aside, I hope you feel better soon. Having burned anything is never fun.

when your on a tight schedal you can't really where a mask to tack weild it to time comesuming

take more care next time wear the mask its better to loose a bit of time then days

ya really if you you were there you better understand not that you dont when you tack wield its a 2sec wield and if you put the hood on and miss you have to clean it up and try agine also i wasent wielding that day

yea its a pain only to lay a tack. but thats why i like my auto darkening still kinda hard to see before the fire starts but not pitch black.

i got the crap burned out of my face a couple of months ago from laying a bunch of tacks w/ no mask. didnt even know it till the next day when i touched my face... hurt like hell...

ya before the day was over my eyes were burning I'm going to tack my auto dark mask
i need to be able to drive

Next time your employer tells you you are working too slow because you are using mask, tell him you work even slower if you can't fY^$%&^$ see at all :P

I'm sorry to hear that though man, I've had mild arc-eye in my left eye because one of the workshop guys struck up the Mig while I was walking past, didn't see me walk by the end of the welding screen. That hurt enough, and it only lasted about 2 hours. I can't imagine what kinda of pain and irritation it must cause you having it that bad. Speedy recovery man.
