"Federal authorities raid stores allegedly selling nitrous oxide" raids in south Cal. i read 3 stories about nos being use illegally as a recreational drug. it looks to me the feds did a good job. it all pivots around the illegal use of nos. they did not go after racers using nos. it seams that the feds are doing a very good job, of going after the right people, the feds are going after people knowingly selling nos to drug users, not racers using it legally. . thanks to the feds for trying to keep harm from drug users.

What next? They get rid of "Five Hour Energy"?

People use anything to get high. You guys see that girl on the news that died the other day, huffing Dust Off for the first time. I dont get it, literally why dont kids just smoke pot or drink if they have to get buzzed? Guess cost and access is prolly why.

Damn, nitrous oxide. THAT NOS.
I just found out that the NOS I posted above is an energy drink. I've been using it as a fuel additive. I always got the red one. I thought it was "Leaded Cherry" to boost the octane but it's "Loaded Cherry".
The car ran lousy but the exhaust smelled great. :D
The green "Charged Citrus" went in the battery. The blue and the silver were for the windshield washers.

Shouldn't the charged citrus go in the radiator and the blue stuff in the windshield washer reservoir. Coffee from the mods' lounge goes in the battery....

The only nos i know of that you can inhale is from a dentist. The nos you get for a car is mixed with sulfur so it can't be inhaled with out burning your nose. Nos with out sulfur needs a medical license to buy. How are kids getting this stuff?

the report i saw on the internet said some of the people arrested was selling nos out of a weld supply shop. i dont say good things about the government much. but the feds did a very good job here.

Is NOS an inert gas used in welding? If so, they need to add another nasty smell that burns off during the weld but can't be inhaled without irritation.

i have been around welding for years, i dont know of NOS used in welding. it may be the weld supply shops handle NOS for dentists, doctors, cause it is made by the same people that make the other gass. just a thought.

Hey.... I make the coffee in the Mod lounge, if its too strong for you just say so. Wuss.

I knew a guy that got it from a dentist. We used it on his 2 stroke quad that he raced to get the unfair advantage. This was 20 years ago before NOS for cars was as easy to get. We never really thought to huff the crap. We had beer...
