I've been having nothing but troubles with my react since I bought the thing. I got it used from flea bay (probably the main problem right there) and I can't get the thing to work right for me. first, I couldent hook it up to my computer for updates, second I couldent update once I got the thing to hook up. Then the update failed and the software went screwy. Now it seems that the update software is fine, but the stupid thing starts calibrating when I turn it on, the kicker here is, it wont calibrate the throttle!

so here is my question, Is there anybody here who is a Nomadio guru who can figure this thing out? I'm tired of talking to Nomadio support because they either dont write back or give me a solution that just doesn't work. I realize Scott is supposed to be a great guy, but I'm just tired of the headache.

OR, should I cut my losses and run to a new system like the DX3R?

whatever it would be, It needs to be 3 channel dig capable for crawling, and also needs multi model memory for my nitro and future cars.

i have the sensor and have never had an issue. maybe you got a dud. if you decide to axe it, i got dibs on the recievers... they are supposed to work on the sensor to.

The React sux imo, I went thru 3 in 2 weeks, Scott at Nomadio is a Tool. Buy a 3R, PK4, or Dx6i

3R= DX3R right? DX6i another spektrum? and I have no clue on the PK4.

I'm glad sombody agrees with me about scott. the most useless SOB in customer service.

so trash the React? or sell it cheap to some other loser on ebay?

DX3R is a 3 ch.,DX6i is a 6 ch. stick radio, and 4pk is a 4 channel pistol grip from Futaba.

I used to have a Nomadio and while it didn't give me any grief, the poor plastics just always made me distrust it. Now I have a 4PK. It's the holy grail of radios IMO.

the 4pk looks pretty sweet! whats the advantage of it over the spektrum? with the little reaserch I've done I'm still not sure. the Nomadio, however, is out.

And no stick for me thanks. I only use those to fly.

The 4PK feels incredible to hold in your hands. It's a little heavier than the DX3R, but it does feel more sturdy than the DX3R. It has a little more travel in the wheel, which I like. I find the DX3R to have too little travel making it feel twitchy. Also you have more adjustability in the travel of the trigger, and position of the wheel.

I think they are on par as far as reliability.
